GUWAHATI: After cow bones were discovered on the grounds of a Kali temple in Ward No. 10 of HartBartGanj Bazar in Hailakandi city, the temple has drawn a lot of attention. The act has caused a commotion throughout the entire region, and the police have opened an inquiry.

Sources claim that on April 2, early in the morning, a local resident discovered the cow's bones at the Kali temple. The Hailakandi police have recovered the bones and taken them to the police station for additional examination.

A sizable police contingent, led by Hailakandi Superintendent of Police Nabaneet Mahanta, arrived on the scene as soon as they learned of the incident, in order to assess its full scope.

The locals claim that, "We think the bones were deliberately left in the temple. In Hailakandi town, there is a famous Ram Navami rally, hence we think that the bones were intentionally left in the temple.”

Nabaneet Mahanta, the superintendent of the police, visited the shrine and requested the locals to maintain peace in the region. He reassured them that the offenders would soon face consequences. The police are actively looking for the perpetrators of the event and have already opened an inquiry.

Locals are outraged by the occurrence and have called for quick actions against the offenders. They have urged the police to apprehend the offenders and expressed their confidence in them. The discovery of cow bones in the Kali temple has prompted inquiries regarding the reason for the occurrence, and the police are doing everything they can to find the answer.

President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Hailakandi Milan Das alleged that the incident was preplanned. The city was busy during the Ram Navami rally, and the miscreants wanted to destroy the harmony and disturb the rally.
