DEMOW: The Maha Saptami Puja took place on Saturday. On that day, devotees thronged the pandals in Demow and the neighbouring districts to ask Goddess Durga for her blessings. The celebratory atmosphere was energized by the dhak's upbeat beats. On Saturday, people in new outfits were spotted purchasing balloons, soft toys,, playing with weapons, and enjoying delectable sweets and fast food. On Sunday, the Maha Astami Puja will be performed.
