BARPETA: In connection with the assembly election, Barpeta Deputy Commissioner Munindra Sarma imposed Sec 144 CrPC in this district. No person or group will be allowed to hold any meeting, election campaign and other meeting from Saturday. The gathering of more than five people is not allowed. No one can carry any arm or any sharp weapon according to this order. This order will prevail until further order.
