Guwahati: Four people were killed in a road accident on Monday after an Innova car lost control and overturned on the roadside at Naoboicha in Lakhimpur district, Assam. All four of the five passengers died on spot. They were traveling from Guwahati to Lakhimpur.
The deceased have been identified as Ratna Mahanta, the driver, Mitali Das Boro, Utpal Boro, and Rinku Moran. The other passenger, Narayan Boro's condition is reportedly serious. Boro was rushed to Lakhimpur Civil Hospital for further treatment.
