Assam Govt Announces Literary Pension For 23 Writers; Check Their Names Here

Guwahati: The Assam Government has announced a list of 23 prominent litterateurs of the state who will be given a literary pension for the year 2021.

Taking to micro-blogging site twitter on Sunday, Education Minister Ranoj Pegu, said,'' Today, the names of the candidates for the 2021-22 literary pensions are announced. Congratulations to the distinguished writers who have been selected for this honor.''

The said pension will be given on December 7, during the birth anniversary of Sahitya Akademi winner Homen Borgohain at Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra.

The list of the litterateurs chosen by the Government for pensions is as follows:
