DHUBRI: Acting on a specific input, Dhubri police carried out a search operation in the house of one Noor Islam Sheikh, son of Aslam Uddin Sheikh, resident of new market, ward no-5 of Dhubri town on Monday.
However, Noor Islam Sheikh found to be absconding and a gun was seized, a police source said. Source also informed that Noor Islam Sheikh was a food delivery boy and a habitual offender as a case was also registered against him in drug peddling in Dhubri Police Station.
