Assam: Kokrajhar is set to host 3rd Literary Festival from Jan 27

KOKRAJHAR: Kokrajhar is set for hosting the 3rd Kokrajhar Literary Festival at Bodofa Cultural Complex on the bank of the Gaurang river from January 27 to January 29 where prominent writers, poets and litterateurs from across the country and abroad will be attending the programme with their creative writings and poems for exchange. The programme would be hosted with the support of the government of BTC.

Prominent writer, academician, social activist and the president of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha (BSS) Dr. Surath Narzary has sent a warm and loving note and invitation for the 3rd Kokrajhar Literary Festival which will be hosted on the bank of Gaurang River at Bodofa Cultural complex with three-day programmes on January 27, 28 and 29. He said the mega Literary Festival will witness the convergence of prominent litterateurs, poets and great writers to exchange their creativities. He said the festival will promote the importance of the creativity of a particular place to the world communities besides enhancing the bond of love and brotherhood. The literary festival brings creative minds and creative thinking as there will be exchange of creative art and knowledge with noted litterateurs of India and beyond, he said adding that the 3rd Kokrajhar Literary Festival will be an event of great inspiration for new writers and poets.

Narzary said hundreds of writers and poets from different states of India and other countries like Australia, The USA, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Sri Lanka, England etc. will come to Kokrajhar Literary Festival to share their creative writings and ideas. He called upon all to enjoy the literary festival to earn a wide range of knowledge.
