Assam: Lakhimpur district administration organized Meet to ensure harmony on Ram Mandir consecration day

The Lakhimpur district administration organized a meeting on Friday in order to ensure coordination and to take stock of the preparation and activities planned in the district in connection with the consecration of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya on January 22.

LAKHIMPUR: The Lakhimpur district administration organized a meeting on Friday in order to ensure coordination and to take stock of the preparation and activities planned in the district in connection with the consecration of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya on January 22. Members from RSS, Hindu Parishad and other organisations of the Hindu faith along with the representatives from Zamiat Ulah, Madrassa Students Union and other Muslim Community and Minorities’ Committees were present in the meeting.

While chairing the meeting, District Commissioner of Lakhimpur Gayatri Hyalinge appealed to all to celebrate the event with peace and  harmony. All members extended support to the appeal made by the District Commissioner. The representatives from both faiths spoke of the general cooperation and harmony that prevails among all religious communities in the district. One of the members of MSDP, Lakhimpur Monitoring Committee congratulated the devotees who would visit Ayodhya to witness the historic and pious event and assured that they, being Indian first, would extend full coordination to maintain harmony and to uphold the sanctity of the day.
