Guwahati: There could be a shortage of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders in Assam in the coming days due to the closure of LPG transporters across the state, indefinitely from July 25.
This comes in the wake of the Northeast Packed LPG Transporter Association (NEPLTA) calling for an indefinite strike, starting on July 24.
The NEPLTA has called for this strike against the authorities of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for not meeting the demands of the local transporters.
