Assam Minister Atul Bora inaugurates Pension Sewa Kendra

The new pensioners said that they were pleased to see a centre at Dibrugarh as it was difficult and hectic for them to go to Guwahati to get their work done.

Dibrugarh: State Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science Minister Atul Bora inaugurated the Pension Sewa Kendra at the office of the Inspector of Schools, Dibrugarh on Friday. The Sewa Kendra was inaugurated in presence of the Dibrugarh Deputy Commissioner Biswajit Pegu, Inspector of Schools Dipika Choudhury, ADC Sanghamitra Baruah, and other officers and employees of the education department, pensioners.

After inaugurating the centre, a meeting was held at the conference hall of the DC office, Dibrugarh, where the teachers who will retire by July 31, 2022 were present and were offered the Leave Encashment and GIS to them by the Cabinet Minister. The pensioners were greeted and congratulated by minister Atul Bora and the administration. The new pensioners said that they were pleased to see a centre at Dibrugarh as it was difficult and hectic for them to go to Guwahati to get their work done.
