According to report, a horrific incident took place at around 6.30 pm on Friday in Dergaon. The miscreant looted lakhs of rupees by showing pistol. The incident took place at the SBI Customer Service Centre near Dergaon. A young man entered the customer care centre with a cloth tied on his face. He first started talking about depositing money as an ordinary customer. Soon after, he pulled out a pistol and snatched one lakh seventy thousand rupees from the cash box of Vijay Sharma, the owner of the customer care centre. The incident, which took place in the evening, has created sensation in Dergaon. The Superintendent of Police of Golaghat district reached the spot and investigation is underway.
