JAMUGURIHAT: Assam Nepali Sahitya Sabha (ANSS) handed over a cheque of Rs 51,000 to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund on Monday.
A delegation of the literary body met Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at his office and handed him the cheque to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The delegates later on felicitated the Chief Minister with a citation, Gorkha cap, khukuri, xarai and gamosa.
The delegation included Durga Khatiwora, president of the literary body, Dr. Chintamani Sarma, working president, and Rudra Baral, secretary general, among others.
