KOKRAJHAR: Newly-released Bodo film “Rwda” produced by RB Productions of Kokrajhar received huge applause and witnessed overcrowding onlookers during the premiere show at Rupnath Brahma memorial field, Ramfalbil on September 9. The conduct committee of the premier show of new Bodo film failed to provide sufficient accommodation to cine fans and they resorted to removing the tent screen around the pandel for excited spectators who failed to get tickets.

Talking to this correspondent, one of the members of conduct committee, Pwjakhang Mashahary said they experience shortfall of seating capacity for spectators of such premiere show in Ramfalbil every year and thus this time they made an arrangement of 5,000 seating capacity but it also failed to meet the required capacity for massive convergence of spectators. He also said more than 30 pc of onlookers thronged outside the makeshift stage and finally the committee was compelled to remove the screen from all sides for the excited cine fans of the locality. He also said since the demand for Bodo films is increasing every year, the time has come to set up mini cinema halls in every hot pocket of the BTC area.

Meanwhile, the premiere show of new Bodo film ‘Rwda’ was released after lighting of lamp by noted artiste, an NSD and secretary of Bodo Cine Artiste’s Association (BCCA) Guru Pabitra Boro and Riya Brahma, Managing Director of RB Film Productions, Kokrajhar.
