Assam NGO Roktadata felicitated Journalists in Tezpur

Roktadata, a frontline NGO of Assam, felicitated two COVID-19 warriors for their relentless services during the COVID-19 pandemic in the district.

TEZPUR: Roktadata, a frontline NGO of Assam, felicitated two COVID-19 warriors for their relentless services during the COVID-19 pandemic in the district.

The scribes who were felicitated included senior journalist and secretary of Journalist Association for Assam, Hemanta Kumar Nath and Tarun Das, member of Sonitpur Press Club, with 'Corona Joddha' award (Special COVID warrior award) at a special programme held recently. Tarun Das set an example by sanitizing more than 300 government and private sector establishments in Greater Tezpur town during first and second wave of the pandemic. State secretary of Roktadata, Pawan Kumar Nath, senior journalist and cultural activist, Dip Kumar Kalita and all members of Roktadata attended the felicitation programme. They were accorded warm welcome and felicitated with phulam gamosa, a citation and were handed over face masks and hand sanitizer bottles in the event.
