Assam On The Map Of Al-Qaida's Khalifa, Alleges State BJP Leaders

The BJP spokesperson said that AQIS is working for the creation of Khalifa state covering Bangladesh's Dhaka, Cox Bazar, Torai region of Nepal, Manipur, Northeastern region and Eastern India.

GUWAHATI: In a shocking revelation, Assam BJP leaders said that the AQIS (Al-Qaida in the Indian Subcontinent) consists of a wide network of Islamic terrorist groups in the Madrassa of Dhubri's char chapori area in the wake of the International terrorist platform in Assam 'Hakkani Network'.

This major disclosure was made by two of the Assam BJP spokespersons namely Mominul Awal and Ranjib Kumar Sharma.

On Sunday 6 March, the two BJP leaders made this remark about Al-Qaida's operation in the state's Madrassa during a press conference held at the head office of BJP, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan located at Hengrabari area of Guwahati city.

During their speech at the press meet, the BJP leader said that AQIS has been rapidly moving forward in many of the Madrassas located in char chapori riverine region.

They claimed that AQIS has been operating for the creation of Khalifa state covering Bangladesh's Dhaka, Cox Bazar, Torai region of Nepal, Rohingya's of Manipur, Northeastern region and Eastern India.

The duo claims that the terrorist outfit is operating in the area in the form of sleeper cells and covers a huge network.

The BJP spokespersons informed that this is a huge network of the extremist group in most of the Madrassas in Assam's char chapori area came into light after the arrest of 5 youths from Barpeta for their links with Bangladesh based Jihadi outfit.

On Saturday 5 March, these 5 persons identified as Saiful Islam, Badshah Suleiman Khan, Taimur Rahman Khan, Khairul Islam and Naushad Ali were detained by Assam police from the Chakaliyapara Madrassa in the Barpeta district of Assam.

The state's BJP leaders further alleged that the majority of private madrassas in Assam are involved in anti-national activities at present time and the administration needs to keep an eye to ensure that the learning process in those madrassas is similar to the government-funded madrassa.

The duo added that the students imparting education in the private madrassa are unaware of Lachit Borphukan, Madhabdev and Mahapurush Sankardev instead this so-called unregulated madrassasa teach students about terrorist outfits based in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Lebanon and Syria.

This process of teaching misleads the youths of Assam and results in unrest among people in the society said the BJP spokespersons.

The party made allegations against the political parties of AIUDF, AMSU and Congress stating that these parties always work in order with Islamic extremist outfits.
