Namrup: In a bid to assist and fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, Assam Petro-Chemicals Limited has contributed a sum of Rs 25 lakh and one day salary of APL employees amounting to Rs 5,36,022 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund on April 10 in Guwahati.
Bikul Ch Deka, chairman of APL, Atul Chandra Barman, Managing Director of APL, handed over the cheque of Rs 30,36,022 to Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in presence of State Industries and Transport Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary, and Dr KK Dwivedi, Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam, Industries and Commerce Department.
