TEZPUR: Based on input provided by Military Intelligence ECIB (Eastern Command Intelligence Battalion), Nagaon Police launched a joint operation with the ECIB team at Nama Paghali village under Samaguri PS in the Nagaon district. The joint operation team recovered and seized eight handmade grenades (belonging to ANEs) in front of the residence of Khairul Islam, son of Giyasuddin. A case has been registered 292/23 u/s 508 under Explosive Substance Act 1908 in Samaguri PS in Nagaon district.
