NAGAON: As per directive of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee, Nagaon District Congress took out ‘Youth Jodo Yatra’ rally on foot across the small town to attract the youngsters of the district on Wednesday. The rally started from Haibargaon Lakshinagar Chariali and concluded at Nagaon Rajib Bhavan in the town where the district Congress organized a public meeting.
Jubair Alom, the state president of Congress youth wing, MP Gaurab Gogoi, Samaguri MLA and former minister Rokibul Hussain, Rupahihat MLA Nurul Hoda, MLA Sibamoni Bora, Lahorighat MLA Asif Nazar, president of Nagaon Zila Congress Prasanta Kumar Saikia, district Yuva Congress Committee, Nagoan Ajhar Ali Ahmed and other members of the district Congress participated in the rally. During the meeting, over hundred of workers as well as supporters of various political parties joined the Congress party.
