A CORRESPONDENT
DEMOW: A general meeting of Assam Press Correspondent Union (APCU), Sivasagar District Committee was held in Aaidung Valley Resort situated in Desangmukh recently. Under the presidentship of Padum Kumar Saikia, president of Assam Press Correspondent Union (APCU), Sivasagar District Committee, the general meeting was held.
Sarat Sensua, general secretary of Assam Press Correspondent Union (APCU), Central Committee was present. Rituparna Bharali, in charge secretary of APCU, Sivasagar District Committee anchored the programme. It was decided that in the first week of April, an executive meeting of the Central Committee will be held in Moran. Rajani Kanta Goswami was selected as advisor, Padum Kumar Saikia was selected as president, Rajib Dutta was selected as working president, Lakhinandan Barua was selected as vice-president, Rituparna Barua was selected as general secretary.
