LAKHIMPUR: Two talented youths of Lakhimpur district, who cleared the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2020, conducted by Assam Public Service Commission (APSC), were given warm felicitation by the native people on Saturday. One of them is Trinayan Chamuah, who cleared the exam by achieving 48th rank as per the results declared on Friday. Trinayan is the son of Arun Chamuah and Sashiprabha Chamuah, inhabitants of Jamuguri village under Dhakuakhana subdivision of the district.
The people of the village feted Trinayan by organizing a public meeting at the village namghar. The meeting was chaired by Biren Hundique, the secretary of Assam High School Teachers' Association, North Assam zone. The meeting was held under the management of Satya Chamuah. The people of the village greeted Trinayan with phulam gamosa, japi, xarai etc. for bringing laurels to the area as well as the district with his achievement. President of Press Guild, Dhakuakhana Alok Chamuah, woman social worker Renu Borphukan, Trinayan's father Arun Chamuah delivered lecture in the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, Trinayan asked the upcoming generation to be studious enough to earn proper knowledge to achieve success.
On the other hand, the people of Khaga, the historically famous place under North Lakhimpur subdivision, took out a rally with Paramananda Nath. Paramananda is the son of Puneswar Nath and Hemalata Nath, inhabitants of Khaga. Paramananda studied in Assamese medium at Pub-Telahi High School, then in North Lakhimpur College (Autonomous) and graduated with Physics as honours subject. From the entry of the village, Paramananda was escorted to the Pub-Telahi High School and given warm felicitation by the people of the village and the school. He delivered encouraging lectures at Khaga Sankardev Shishu Niketan and Telahi Tuwaram Nath College addressing the students. Paramananda has been selected for the post of Assistant Manager of Industries.
