DEMOW: Under the patronage of the people of Demow, Sri Krishna Raax Lila 2023 programme started in Demow Public Playground from November 29 for two days. On November 29, the Raas Lila programme was inaugurated by Thowra MLA Sushanta Borgohain. As per the Cabinet decision, the government extended Rs. 25,000 each to the committees holding Raax Lila for three years. The Sri Krishna Raax Lila Udjapan Sametee, Demow has also got a cheque of Rs. 25,000 from Thowra MLA Sushanta Borgohain on Wednesday night.
On November 29, which was the first day of the Sri Sri Krishna Raax Lila Programme, a drama named “Debalukar Pora Kaliya Daman” was staged. On November 30, a drama named “Maharaasor Pora Konkho Badha Loi” was staged.
