JAMUGURIHAT: Assam Rifles, under HQ Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), organised a yoga programme to 'prac-tice yoga with locals of Lokra Village' in Sonitpur on Sunday. The aim of the session was to practice and promote numerous kinds of yoga asanas and implement yoga disciplines into daily life. In addition to the yoga sessions, the event included interaction with civil-ians and serving personnel and discussed meditation, relaxation techniques, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. The event was attended by 37 locals, 59 students, and 29 personnel with full zeal and enthusiasm, according to a press release.
