Assam: Road accidents took place on NH 37 in Golaghat

A accident took place at NH-37 at Badulipar in the Golaghat district on Monday. A truck (AS 01NC3090) loaded with LPG gas cylinders lost control and fell on the road. The truck was on its way to Demow from Guwahati.

GOLAGHAT: A accident took place at NH-37 at Badulipar in the Golaghat district on Monday. A truck (AS 01NC3090) loaded with LPG gas cylinders lost control and fell on the road. The truck was on its way to Demow from Guwahati.

The traffic police of Dergaon reached the spot and brought the situation under control. There is curiosity among the public as to why there are frequent road accidents taking place on the newly constructed four-lane national highway.

An Altra Star bus going to a picnic again met with an accident in the Bishnupur area under Numaligarh Police station on National Highway 39. The rear wheel of the bus opened in the middle of the highway. Fortunately, the team of picnickers going from Lakhowjan to Deopani Temple was safe. The number of the vehicle is AS02B5529. However, no one was injured in the accident. There were a total of 37 people on the bus.
