Assam: Schedule of HSLC Examinations 2023 Released

It is scheduled to start from March 3, Friday.

GUWAHATI: The education department of the state has released the schedule for the High School Leaving Certificate for the year 2023 on December 8, Thursday. It is scheduled to start on March 3, Friday.

The High School Leaving Certificate Examination 2023 has a two-and-a-half-week long schedule starting on March 3 and ending on March 20.

The first subject will be English in the morning session on March 3. Elective subjects Fine Arts and Garment Designing are scheduled for the morning session of March 4. The General Mathematics examination will be conducted in the morning session on March 6. And Social Science will be on March 9 in the same session.

Elective subjects Manipuri and Santhali will be hosted in the first half of March 10 while Music, Dance, Wood Craft and Bengali will be conducted in the second half. The examination for General Science will be held in the first half of March 13.

The second half of March 14 has the examinations of the following elective subjects under the National Skill Qualification Framework. They are Retail Trade, IT/ITeS, Private Security, Health Care, Agriculture and Horticulture, Tourism and Hospitality, Beauty and Wellness, Automotive, Electronics and Hardware and Animal Health Worker. Elective subject Bodo will also have the examinations in the same slot.

Elective Assamese is on the morning of March 15. Elective Hindi is in the same slot on March 16 along with Weaving and Textile. MIL/ English (IL) will be held in the first half of March 18.

Examinations for the remaining elective subjects will be conducted in the first session of March 20. The subjects are Advanced Mathematics, Geography, History, Sanskrit, Computer Science, Commerce, Home Science, Nepali, Arabic and Persian.
