Assam: Search Operation Launched for Missing Student in Sontali

SONTALI: A frantic search operation is currently in progress for a missing student from Sontali, Assam. The student, identified as Munsur Rahman, has been reported missing from South Rangapani Village No. 2 in Assam's Kamrup district.

Rahman was last seen on the afternoon of September 19, while he was on his way to Sontali's local market. Concerns about his well-being have grown significantly since his disappearance.

In response to the alarming situation, Rahman's family has taken immediate action by filing a First Information Report (FIR) with the Sontali police station. This FIR has triggered a coordinated effort to locate the missing student.

Authorities, along with the local community, are actively collaborating to gather any available information that could help locate Munsur Rahman and ensure his safety.

In other news, in a bizarre incident, a man died after he was attacked while working at a tea factory, leading to his death. He was attacked by his brother-in-law. The incident took place in the Jinjia tea estate in the Behali constituency of the state and was caught on camera. The brother-in-law attacked the husband of his sister while was working in the tea factory in the tea estate. The attacker was identified as Laba Munda while the victim was Lucas Tanti. The incident is speculated to be the result of a family conflict.

Meanwhile, the close circuit cameras installed in the factory clearly show Laba Munda walking into the factory and attacking Lucas Tanti from behind with a local machete or dao. The police arrived at the location of the incident and took the attacker into custody and an investigation into the incident is now underway. Previously, in a perplexing turn of events, Guwahati, the bustling city in Assam, India, became the backdrop of unsettling discoveries. The lifeless body of an unidentified man was discovered hanging at a paper dump yard situated in the heart of Machkhowa, near the bustling markets of Fancy Bazar. This grim occurrence sent shockwaves through the community, leaving more questions than answers in its wake.
