TANGLA: Attending the clarion call of ‘Ek Tarikh Ek Ghanta Ek Sath’ initiative for cleanliness, shramdaan activities were carried out in Tangla town by the citizens recently. The event was hosted by Tangla Municipal Board across Ward No.1,Ward No. 2,Ward No.3, and Ward No.4 of Tangla town. Tangla Municipal Board Chairman, Dilip Boro participated in cleanliness drive organised at Ward No.3 of Tangla town. Vice-Chairman ,Kalpana Sarkar; Ward Commissioner, Biren Das also offered shramdan in the drive where a large number of people, specifically women voluntarily offered shramdan. TMB chairman Dilip Boro called upon the people to join the cleanliness drive and contribute to make the roads and locality garbage free. He also reiterated that erring citizens littering the locality would be levied fine.
