Assam: Silver Jubilee of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya begins

MORIGAON: On completion of 25 years, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Morigaon run by the Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India, celebrated its silver jubilee amidst enthusiasm in the premises of the school which commenced from Saturday. The two day long programme kicked off with a spellbound programme ‘Setubandha’ (Bridge building).

Renowned journalist and Sahitya Academic awardee Manuj Kr.Goswami inaugurated the souvenir ‘Eaikyaam’. While inaugurating the souvenir Manuj Kr. Goswami addressed the students and said that they should always think big in life. “With the triumph of contemporary science and technology, space missions have already opened up the space. Therefore, we have to expand our scope of thought. He said that the students should develop the mentality for serving the society, nation and country. Always be with like-minded friends so that something can be gained collectively,” he said.

He further added, “Never ignore or neglect your opponent. The process of learning in life should be continuous and planning in life should be done in a classified manner so that if you cannot succeed in ‘A’, you can succeed in ‘B’ or ‘C’. One should never try to break the law in life.”
