NALBARI: A special training on routine vaccination was imparted to ANM nurses in the Nalbari district in view of the Comprehensive Mission Indradhanush -5.0.
The two-day training was held at Nalbari Nursing Training Centre from August 28 to August 29. The training was conducted under the supervision of Additional Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr Kameshwar Lahkar and District Immunization Officer Dr Hemanta Kumar Das. ANM nurses were also trained for the successful conduct of the second programme of the campaign to be held from September 11- September 16.
The campaign will cover children aged 0-5 years who are excluded from routine vaccination or children who are deprived of vaccination. The campaign will also cover those who are deprived of smallpox vaccination. Training was also given on the management of U-WIN portal launched by the Government of India for smooth management of Comprehensive Mission Indradhanush - 5.0. The training covers all health issues related to the future protection of children and pregnant women.
