Assam State Youth Commission to provide JEE/ NEET coaching to students

With the aim to provide scholarship-based coaching to the State’s young talented students and to help them crack the All India-level top examinations like JEE and NEET, the Assam State Youth Commission has launched the Bikoxito Jibon Porikolpona Scheme, under which meritorious students from deprived and economically weaker sections of the society will be given access to the best coaching institutes of India right here at their home state.

TEZPUR: With the aim to provide scholarship-based coaching to the State’s young talented students and to help them crack the All India-level top examinations like JEE and NEET, the Assam State Youth Commission has launched the Bikoxito Jibon Porikolpona Scheme, under which meritorious students from deprived and economically weaker sections of the society will be given access to the best coaching institutes of India right here at their home state.

Under this scheme, a centre will also be opened here at Tezpur, in tie-up with Centre for Social Responsibility and Leadership (CRSL), New Delhi and Tezpur Science Academy, which will initially have an intake of 250 students. Coaching at the Tezpur Centre will begin from July for which an entrance examination, CRSLUDDAN, will be held on June 25, 2023 across eight centres, covering the districts of Biswanath, Sonitpur, Darrang, Nagaon, Morigaon and Udalguri. This was informed by Member, ASYC, Mita Nath Bora at a press meet held on Friday at the conference hall of the DC’s Office in Tezpur.

ASYC has engaged the Centre for Social Responsibility and Leadership (CSRL), New Delhi, an organization of national reputation working in 14 states, supporting students 312 districts with 29 centres, as a partner institution to provide coaching for medical and engineering examination in Tezpur CSRL. CRSL has been working in the Northeast for the last 12 years and successfully running SUPER 30 projects, with support of OIL & ONGC at various locations like Guwahati, Nogaon, Jorhat, Sibsagar, Dibrugarh and Golaghat and adjoining states like Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura.

Students of Class XI and XII seeking to take admission in Project CSRL SUPER ASSAM at Tezpur will be provided scholarships/fee waivers up to 100 per cent based on their merit and economic means. The merit of the students will be ascertained based on their performance in CSRLUDDAN examination which is scheduled to be held on June 25, 2023 from 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM at eight centres across the districts of Biswanath, Sonitpur, Darrang, Nagaon, Morigaon and Udalguri, and they will be selected on the basis of merit and economic means for scholarship. Students interested in availing this facility will have to appear for the scholarship examination and they will have to register online on the website - www.csrl.in or https://csrlsuper30writtentest. onlineexamsoftware.in Registration is free and the website also contains sample question papers for students to practice and prepare for the examination.
