MORIGAON: Assam Agriculture University (Plant Pathology) developed biopesticide TRICHODERMA and biofertilizer BASILAS through which the Poohar Producer Company Ltd., a Morigaon-based producer company, has been able to develop the agri sector in the region.
Poohar Agro Producer Company Ltd. director and chief scientist Dr Debajit Kalita on Thursday conducted a training camp on ‘Field Evaluation of AAU-bio formulation against rice diseases and usages of the two developed microbial bio formulas TRICHODERMA and BASILAS’ under the guidance of senior scientist Dr Popy Bora of Assam Agriculture University, at Borchala, Kahibari and Bhekahubori.
The Poohar Agro Producer Company Ltd. and Assam Agriculture University jointly conducted the training camp emphasizing the usage of the developed biopesticides so that farmers can benefit.
