Assam: Two Killed, Six Injured In Road Accident Near Silapathar

As per reports, the accident occurred when a vehicle carrying eight passengers lost control and collided with a railing of a bridge at Silasuti near Silapathar.

Guwahati: Two people lost their lives while six were critically injured in a road accident that occurred near Silapathar in the Dhemaji district of Assam.

As per reports, the accident occurred when a vehicle carrying eight passengers lost control and collided with a railing of a bridge at Silasuti near Silapathar.

The vehicle was heading towards Itanagar from Yingkiong.

Upon receiving the information of the same, a team of police reached the scene and rushed the injured to a nearby hospital.

Reportedly, the two deceased were identified as 23-years-old Yei Boje who was a residence of Aalo in West Siang district, and 28-years-old Minam Tobi (28) from Mossing village in Upper Siang district.

Meanwhile, all the injured have been to Assam Medical College Hospital in Dibrugarh for further medical treatment.
