SILCHAR: A speeding Bolero car belonging to the Officer-in-Charge of Lailapur police outpost hit a motorbike from behind, leaving two riders, both in their seventeens, dead. The deceased were identified as Mustafa Ahmed Laskar and Asad Gani Laskar, students of class XI of the CCJS Higher Secondary School of Palongghat in Dholai. The tragic incident happened on Monday afternoon near Saptagram in Silchar-Aizwal, NH. Mustafa and Asad were returning to their homes on the bike after attending the 'janaja' or the last rite of their teacher, Najrul Islam Laskar, at East Hawaithang.
