GUWAHATI: On Wednesday, a severe automobile accident took place. The disaster occurred in Guwahati, the state capital of Assam, as a result of a head-on collision between two vehicles.
According to the initial reports, the tragedy took place in the Ganeshguri flyover. Witnesses claimed to have seen a Toyota Fortuner collide head-on with a Hyundai i10 on the flyover.
It is not known how the two vehicles managed to collide head-on given that the flyover has clearly defined barriers and why one of the automobiles was driving on the wrong side of the street.
There were no reports of any fatalities related to the significant accident. It is unclear as to how many people were inside the vehicle at the time of the accident.
A traffic police team arrived on the scene to handle the situation and take the necessary steps. The driver of the car that came into the intersection from the wrong side of the street was thought to have been intoxicated at the time of the crash.
Road accidents occur regularly during festive times as people overlook safety rules and the dangers of driving after drinking.

According to reports, the incident resulted in injuries for both the car's driver and another passenger. The car that was engaged in the incident has been identified as a Maruti Brezza with the licence plates AS 01 DL 2412.
