SONAPUR: In a series of veterinary OPDs conducted by 1st Bn SSB on Friday, SSB Sonapur took up initiative by opening village OPD at Jarikuri village of Digaru Gaon Panchayat under the guidance of Anuj Kumar, Officiating Commandant 1st BN SSB Sonapur. During the VCA programme, the villagers benefited from veterinary assistance given by the SSB veterinary team. Further, as a part of the civic action programme in NE region, 1st Bn SSB will conduct an agricultural related workshop for the farmers to garner more knowledge related to farming and distribute seeds free of cost. A football tournament will also be organised shortly at Bn headquarters, Sonapur from January 8 for the villagers, stated a press release.
