DOOMDOOMA: Under the auspices of Ellora Vigyan Mancha (EVM) and Tinsukia District Education Department, and in association with Doomdooma Hoonlal Higher Secondary School, an awareness meeting on the dangers of drugs was organized on Friday at the school premises.
The meeting which was anchored by EVM, Doomdooma Branch Secretary, advocate Tarini Deka, was presided over by senior journalist Amulya Khatniar. The event was inaugurated by the Inspector of Schools (IS), Tinsukia District Circle, Bitupon Hazarika. The resource person, Dr Harinarayan Barkatki gave a detailed discussion on the main topics. Dr Barkatki also gave answers to various questions of students.
The meeting was also addressed by the Secretary, Assam Science Society, Doomdooma Branch, Dhiren Deka. In his speech, the President spoke about the dangers of drugs. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks offered by Secretary , EVM Advocate Tarini Deka.
