Awareness programme and Special drive for Udyam registration held in Tezpur

TEZPUR: Awareness programme and special drive for free on the spot Udyam registration for women entrepreneurs was held at Edupur Society Conference Hall, Tezpur on Tuesday. The programme was organized by Ministry of Micro, Small, Medium Enterprise, (MSME) Government of India, Tezpur Branch, District Industry and Commerce Centre Tezpur in association with Edupur Employment Services Pvt. Ltd. and Tezpur Agro & Allied Processors Industry association.

The programme was started with the introduction of MSME schemes and benefits by Raj Mohnani, Assistant Director, MSME, Tezpur branch, followed by Manonayan Pathak, Assistant Manager, DICC, Sonitpur and Dr. Bitupan Bora, DEDC, Sonitpur. Amit Raj Konwar, Founder Director, Edupur Foundation delivered the training framework to 30 women entrepreneurs of Tezpur in Sonitpur district. He said, “Most of the women want to start their new business, but lack of mentorship, training and guidance, they are not able to do so. We need to give regular skill development training programme to more women entrepreneurs for successful business establishment.” Around 30 free Udyam registration of women entrepreneurs were successfully completed.
