Awareness programme on Agnipath scheme held in Biswanath

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Awareness programmes were conducted in Chatia College and Biswanath Commerce College respectively for the students among the age group of 17-21 years for the Agnipath scheme on Friday.

The objective of conducting the programmes was to motivate youths to join the Indian Armed Forces. The awareness programme was conducted by 11 Airmen Selection Centre, Indian Air Force in collaboration with the Biswanath administration.

Junior Warrant Officer Satbir and Corporal Ravi Sawer, from Indian Airforce, were present as resource persons. They spoke about different career opportunities in the armed forces. In the programme, Atlanta Borah, Mahatma Gandhi National Fellow, Budhadev Borah and Mansingh Phancho from Biswanath Employment Exchange along with Principal and staff of the colleges were present.
