A three-day programme on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Seva, Good Governance and eight years of public welfare was organized

JAMUGURIHAT: A three-day programme on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Seva, Good Governance and eight years of public welfare was organized by the Central Bureau of Communication in association with the ministry of Information and Broadcasting at Balijuri in the northern part of Jamugurihat.

Sootea MLA Padma Hazarika inaugurated the programme on Wednesday. Lighting the ceremonial lamp, Hazarika highlighted the importance of organizing such a mega programme in the remotest part of the district. He added that the Central Government intended to spread the glorious history of the Indian freedom movement among all sections of people. The people who live in the remotest parts of the country have been bridged by this government mission and people can learn more about the freedom struggle and sacrifices made by our national heroes, he said. In this connection, an exhibition displaying national movement was organized.
