Bharatiya Janata Party, ally wins in 8 wards in Palasbari

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies won 8 out of 10 wards in the Palasbari municipal polls.

PALASBARI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies won 8 out of 10 wards in the Palasbari municipal polls. The BJP won seven seats while the AGP won one seat. On the other hand, the Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) won two seats. The winning candidates are 1.no.ward Upama Das (AGP), 2 no.ward Bubu Das (BJP), 3 no.ward Rina Das Kalita (BJP), 4 no.ward Nabajit Das (BJP), 6 no.ward Karabi Kalita (BJP), 7 no.ward Himanghsu Kalita (BJP), 8 no.ward Minudevi Kalita (BJP), and 9 no. ward Bhaskar Kumar (BJP). Meanwhile, in 5 no.ward, Sudhanna Chandra Kalita (AJP) and in 10 no.ward, Arup Das (AJP) won.
