Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organizes citizens' meet at Udalguri

UDALGURI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a citizens' meet at Udalguri Municipal Board hall to focus on the personality of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The meeting was presided over by Sunil Basumatari, the president of Udalguri district committee, BJP, and the guest introduction was given by Birdao Basumatari, the general secretary of Udalguri district, BJP. Ashok Bhattarai, the vice-president of the State BJP and also the chairman of Assam State Transport Corporation, spoke about the schemes launched by the Narendra Modi government and the bold decisions taken by the BJP government. He also focused on the developmental works going on in Assam.

Kartick Chandra Boro, the former BJP president of Udalguri district, said that the prospects of the BJP in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) were bright and the people's support to this end was encouraging. The meeting was also attended by various BJP leaders.
