KOKRAJHAR: Along with the rest of the State, the 97th birth anniversary of music maestro Dr Bhupen Hazarika was celebrated in Kokrajhar town on Friday evening.
Organized by Gaurang Adhyayan Chakra, Kokrajhar, the programme started by lighting of lamp followed by floral tribute to the music maestro. Pankashjyoti Gogoi, lecturer of Aryavidhyapith College, Guwahati attended the celebration as guest. The contributions of Hazarika were remembered on the occasion.
