Birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose celebrated in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: The Lakhimpur district units of All India Democratic Students' Organization (AIDSO), its ancillary organizations All India Democratic Youths' Organization (AIDYO), All India Mahila Sanskriti Sangathan and Kamsomal (teenagers' organization) celebrated the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on Sunday. On this occasion, members of the organization garlanded the statue of the unique freedom fighter located near the Lakhimpur Medical College and Hospital at Saboti. During the event, the members of the organization recalled the struggle of Netaji for India's freedom along with his valour, courage, and sacrifice.

Members of the organization pledged to work for eradication of social distinction, segregation, crimes against women, exploitation of the downtrodden, establishment and securing of democratic values and secure the very soul of universal education for comprehensive, scientific learning. The organization also pledged to fight relentlessly in order to realize Netaji's dream of building a society and nation free from exploitation.
