Biswanath College conducts workshop on innovative ecosystem

Technology Enabling Centre, Tezpur University, in collaboration with Institutions Innovation Council, Biswanath College organized a two-day long workshop

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Technology Enabling Centre, Tezpur University, in collaboration with Institutions Innovation Council, Biswanath College organized a two-day long workshop on 'Innovation Eco-system in Academic Institutions' from March 25 to March 26.

The workshop was inaugurated by Deba Kumar Mishra, Deputy Commissioner of Biswanath. Dr Chinta Mani Sharma, Principal of the college, offered welcome address. In his speech, Dr Sharma emphasized on the importance to inculcate innovative ideas among young minds. Deba Kumar Mishra, in his speech urged the students to take the new opportunities to boost their knowledge and wisdom.

The first technical session was scheduled with two areas. Dr Nabin Sarmah, Assistant Professor from the Department of Energy Technology, Tezpur University delivered his lacture on Technology Enabling Centre as Innovation Ambiance.

The second day of the workshop witnessed the presence of Dr Juri Borbora Saikia, Co-ordinator of Tezpur University IPR Cell as the speaker on the topic 'Intellectual property Rights and Technology Transfer'. An innovative idea competition was also being organized among the students of higher education where more than 25 students participated. The first, second and third prize of the competition were grabbed by Sunayan Borkakoti and his team, Abhishek Bhuyan and Nabajyoti Das and his team respectively.
