A CORRESPONDENT
BISWANATH CHARIALI: A number of print and electronic mediapersons from Biswanath district have urged the Deputy Commissioner of Biswanath to take stern action against the 'fake media persons' working in the district.
A memorandum was submitted recently in this regard. In the memorandum, they alleged that such 'fake mediapersons' had engaged themselves in anti-social activities by virtue of 'press cards' issued to them by unrecognized media institutions that were active only on social media. The print and electronic mediapersons had to often face a lot of problems in government functions because of such 'fake' people. The scribes also called upon other organizations to keep away from the 'fake mediapersons' otherwise the print and electronic media journalists would be forced to abstain from participating in the programmes organized by government and other organizations in the future.
