BISWANATH CHARIALI: As many as six accused persons were apprehended by Biswanath police on Wednesday night for trying to sell a suspected fake rhino horn weighing 528 gm. Leena Doley, Superintendant of Police, Biswanath, informed media persons on Thursday.
The apprehended persons were identified as Aslam Sheikh (23), Hamid Sheikh (33) and Ghanashyam Gupta (60) of Ambari, Zamir Dhali (35) of Bangaon village, Mantu Chamuwa (35) of Lehugaon under Biswanath Charali Police Station and Kiran Das (36) of Borachuk, Khatorgaon under Gohpur Police Station in Biswanath district.
