BJP announces party's national office bearers, 3 NE BJP leaders in the team

PM Narendra Modi confident that the new team would carry forward the saffron party's legacy

New Delhi: Three new faces – all from Northeast, are now part of the BJP's national team. MP Dilip Saikia from Assam has been appointed as one of the National General Secretaries. M Chuba Ao from Nagaland has been appointed as one of the party's 12 National Vice Presidents and Mhonlumo Kikon MLA from Nagaland has been appointed as National Spokesperson.

They are part of the new team national office bearers team announced by BJP National President J P Nadda on Saturday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the new central team and showed confidence in them to 'uphold the glorious tradition' of the party.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu took to Twitter to congratulate three of them for their newly appointed roles.
