BJP to collapse across India: APCC chief Bhupen Bora

KOKRAJHAR: The president of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC), Bhupen Bora on Monday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was heading towards collapse across the country and said that the Congress was on track to return to power.

The APCC chief on Monday attended a joining ceremony held at Ranendra Narayan Basumatary Bhavan here. As many as 40 members from different parties joined the Congress at Kokrajhar. Bora welcomed the members joining the Congress and felicitated them with traditional gamosa.

Talking to reporters, the APCC president said the BJP would fall in the days to come across the country as they have failed on all fronts and to deliver what they promised to people. He said the people of the country was witnessing abnormal price rise, privatization of public sector units and prioritization to wealthy businessmen. Bora said the flag of the Congress will fly everywhere very soon in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) as people's faith in the BJP-led government was decreasing. He said the Congress would play a major role in the BTR in the days ahead with people's support.
