BJP will win all four Assembly seats in twin hill districts: KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang

DONKAMUKAM: Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Tuliram Ronghang said that his party would win all four assembly seats in the twin hills districts of Karbi Anglong.

"I have no doubt that all four MLA seats of the twin districts of Karbi Anglong will be won by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)," said the CEM at the first executive committee meeting of BJP West Karbi Anglong District Committee held on Saturday at Bhoksong, West Karbi Anglong.

"But we should not underestimate the opposition by keeping quiet. We need to jointly monitor and address the communication gap between the leaders and voters in the forthcoming Legislative Assembly election effectively," he said.

He also assured the unemployed youths of the twin hills districts that around 2,500 vacant posts would be filled up within few months. He further highlighted the developmental works done by the BJP government. He mentioned few high schools which had been provincialized recently. "Kopili College and Howraghat College too will be provincialized in the coming days," he finally said.

Presided over by BJP West Karbi Anglong District Committee president Radip Ronghang, the meeting was attended by MLA Dr Mansing Rongpi, EMs Rupsing Teron and Amarsing Tisso, MACs Probhat Ch Taro, Pawan Kr Ray and Rina Terangpi and other leaders.

Earlier at Rongmanpilangso, Borkok under Duar Amla MAC constituency, CEM Tuliram Ronghang inaugurated the Veterinary First Aid Centre and at the same time joined in the plantation drive held nearby. He also laid the foundation stone for construction of rural market complex at Bhoksong weekly market at an estimated cost of Rs 1.96 crore under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikash Yojana 2019-20 Phase-II.
