BJP's Bihar victory celebrated in Assam

BJP party workers took out a victory march in Barpeta Road, the howe town of Assam BJP president Ranjeet Dass.

Barpeta Road: BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA)'s victory in Bihar elections was celebrated in Barpeta Road, the home town of Assam BJP president Ranjeet Dass. The BJP workers and supporters came out in large numbers and joined the victory rally. They celebrated BJP's win in Bihar and in the by-polls of Manipur.

In Bihar, BJP won 74 seats. However, RJD emerged as the single largest party with 75 seats. Nitish Kumar's JD (U) won 43 seats. The Left parties won 16 out of the 28 seats that they contested. The grand old party, Congress managed to win only 19 of the 70 seats they contested. NDA managed 125 seats against the Grand Alliance's 110 to steal the show.

In the just held by-polls in Manipur, BJP won four of the five seats. BJP candidates were declared winners from the constituencies of Wangoi, Singhat, Wangjing Tentha and Saitu constituencies.
