Bodoland People Front will return to power in BTC

KOKRAJHAR: Bodoland People's Front (BPF) candidate from Banargaon constituency, Rajib Brahma on Tuesday expressed confidence of winning from the constituency. He attended an electioneering campaign meeting at Banglajhora in Jharbari area where B. Naijab, former publicity secretary of disbanded NDFB (R), also addressed the meeting.

Talking to reporters, the BPF candidate from Banargaon, Rajib Brahma said he was confident of winning from the constituency as there was no strong opposition candidate. He said the BPF would return to power in BTC by winning 25-30 seats. He also asserted that the people at the grassroots level were still with the BPF. He further said that the support base of BPF had rather increased manifold as people had faith in the BPF and its commitment to them.
